I'm Damla Su Bilge. Computer science student at Bilkent, former teaching assistant for CS115, IEEE board member & PR coordinator. Before engineering I studied medicine at Medipol with a 91/100 average, then chose building things over diagnosing them. Life tested me early: I survived cancer in high school, and it taught me that my time is mine, so I spend it only on what matters.

what I build, and why. 30 projects, 7 of them live on the internet. I build for connection and beauty: a slow letter platform because I love slow bonds, speaking practice apps because words deserve courage, a sewing app because craft should be accessible to everyone. Coding is fun, but imagination is what makes it matter

music. I play ukulele, harmonica, bass, guitar, electric guitar and piano, literally anything I can get my hands on. Pink Floyd, Radiohead and The Beatles shaped how I think about art, longing and beauty; psychedelic rock's bohemian nature inspires me endlessly I also served on the board of Bilkent's Music Club.

books & ideas. Dostoyevsky's The Idiot and Jack London's Martin Eden are my favorites!! I adore Kafka and Viktor Frankl too; the way they write about meaning, suffering and what it means to be human just... gets me every time. I was the audit board president of the Sociology Society, because people, culture and norms interest me as much as code does.

hands & craft. Former board member of the Knitting & Crocheting Society, environmental volunteer at TEMA. I sew, I doodle, I brew coffee every way possible: chemex, V60, french press, aeropress, I know them all from my barista days at a third wave specialty shop

body & mind. Competitive swimmer from age 6 to 11, before my diagnosis changed everything. Three years at the gym and pilates regularly now, not for aesthetics, for my mind! Slow living, quiet walks, meditation, a good matcha and long afternoons with a book

this lifetime is mine, and every project here is curiosity, stubbornness, and a belief that technology should serve connection and beauty!
